Sorry I've been so bad at sharing this week. We have a cold virus we've been fighting over here. And then I'll blame the rest on baseball.
Yep! Baseball. Can anyone relate?
Baseball season is in full swing. And our schedule is jam-packed with Little League games and practices. We have been relying on the "bag dinners" and the concession stand for energy. In fact I can't remember when we last sat down together around the dinner table. Sigh.
But look at how handsome these little athletes are...
This is Luke (my youngest - age 8). He's not into it as much as his brother, but he has fun in the dugout goofing off with his buddies.
Nick (our oldest - age 9-1/2) loves every part of the game - pitching, batting, catching, throwing, planning, anticipating, having fans, getting coached, etc. He's definitely into sports (like his daddy).
In this photo of Luke in the outfield, he is probably thinking about what he is going to get at the concession stand after the game is over. He's more of the creative, day-dreaming type (like his mama).
To make up for my lack of posts lately, I want to share with you a few scrapbook page layouts. Many of the products I used on these pages won't be available after June 2nd. I've marked them with: R for retiring or O for only in the Occasions catalog.
This first set of pages my stampers made with me last weekend at my Scrappin' Sunday event. I used lots of products from the Occasions catalog - Painted Petal stamp set O, Sweet Dreams designer paper O, Sweet Dreams buttons O,...
Along the left, I've used the Dotted Scalloped Ribbon Border punch R. It makes great accents along edges.
The phrases in this stamp set work great for page titles.
Here is another set of pages that I completed for my son, Luke's album using the World of Dreams stamp set and Flower Pot Designer Series paper R. I printed the title using my computer & printer. These were super easy pages to put together as you can see.
My goodness! My boys have grown since last September.
Rhinestones jazz up anything!
This stamp set pairs perfectly with the Triangle punch R.
Thanks for checking in with me today. Tomorrow I'll be posting about new ribbons and how to get in on getting lots of ribbons for less money. Have a safe and relaxing weekend.
