We are so proud of my sister's oldest son, Joe who just became an Eagle Scout. His ceremony was 3 weeks ago, and boy did it have an impact on MY oldest, Nicholas. Now Nick has made it his plan to reach the rank of Eagle Scout. Here are my two boys (Luke in the red & Nick in the green with a goofy smile) with their three cousins (my sister's kiddos) at the Court of Honor ceremony.
I made Joe this congratulatory card with the Outdoor Adventure framelits the morning of the ceremony and forgot to take photos at home. So I just took a couple quick snapshots at the table before the ceremony began. The lighting wasn't the best, so the photos aren't the best. Sorry about that.
I used the Duet Banner Punch for my 3-D sentiment in the lower right corner.
My sentiment piece is made of three layers... The bottom Silver Foil one is punched with the wavy looking banner from the Duet Banner Punch. On top of that is a Whisper White straight banner. I attached that one to the Silver Foil one with SNAIL. Then on top of that is another Whisper White straight banner attached with Dimensionals. The Pacific Point blue stars from the Brights Sequin Assortment are tucked between the Silver Foil and middle Whisper White banners so the SNAIL adhesive helps hold them in place.
This may be one set of framelits that I don't get rid of if my kids are going to continue in scouting.
The coordinating stamp set will be a keeper, too. (I purchased mine together in a bundle and saved 10%.) These both are retiring soon, though. So if you fall in love with them like I did, you'll want to purchase them soon.
All of the supplies I used to make this card are below in my Product List. (The Urban Underground designer paper and embellishments are already sold out (more retiring products), so I'm sorry that I didn't share this card a little sooner.)
Congrats again to our big cousin Joe!
What a great achievement!
